HILLSBOROUGH'S FIRST CELTIC CHRISTMAS
CELEBRATION!
Saturday, December 8th
at Smith Church, 30 West Main Street, Hillsborough NH
6:30pm - 8:30pm
A new-but-old type of musical Christmas celebration is coming
to Hillsborough on December 8th.
A Celtic Christmas will bring to the beautiful
sanctuary of Smith church, a taste of Yuletide traditions from old Ireland and
Scotland in music, song and stories.
Myschyffe Managed, an a cappella group that performs
Celtic and Renaissance tunes,
will enthrall with their energy and
harmonies.
ThistleWood will captivate with their Celtic harp and
guitar duo, and they will add a layer of entertainment when Toni Spiegel joins
them to sing a song or two.
The Bible Hill Boys, local favorites, will be at
their musical and creative best,
bringing more fun to the show.
Local poet, Martha Carlson-Bradley, and some friends will read
the classic story by Dylan Thomas, "A Child's Christmas in Wales."
And there may be one or two surprise guests performers,
too!
Refreshments will be served immediately following the show.
Plan to partake of all of the festivities, musical and social,
and celebrate the Christmas season with
the good folks of Smith church.
Get into the Christmas spirit in a way you may never have
before!
On Saturday evening, December 8th, come out to beautiful Smith
church in downtown Hillsborough
and spend a couple of hours enjoying the lovely decorations
and colorful costumes,
and the haunting, lilting, Celtic Christmas music with your
friends and neighbors.
Tickets are $10 per person,
available at Sweet Expressions, Smith church office
(464-3529), or at the door the night of the event.
All proceeds to benefit Smith church.
